We were a group of 7. 3 of us ordered the brochettes. While eating some rice, I bit into something hard. At first, I thought it was a piece of... (read more) hard rice or bone. However, upon inspection, it was a chard of metal. I was relieved that I did not swallow this as it could have been dangerous. I told the server who in turn told the manager. My meal ended up being at no cost. Had I not found the piece, I’m not sure the outcome would have been the same.

I was wondering if Google would ask me to review this restaurant, so I had been carefully considering my experience. Of course this is only my evaluation of my experience... (read more) today, October 20th, 2024. Very nice restaurant ambience, We were promptly greeted by a server as we passed by the excellent Halloween decorations! We were seated and serviced promptly by a very nice wait staff. She was great all around. So, I ordered the jumbo shrimp on rice, with veg. I was not too impressed, with the presentation of my meal, but that's fine, it's more about the taste anyway. The shrimp was from frozen it seemed, and misshapen, and a little mushy. The taste was passable, but the texture was not good. Fries, are great and the vegetables reasonable. I can be fancy, and I can be more pedestrian, but the jumbo shrimp dish is not something I would order again. I asked my two guests "How were your meals?", Not great were both responses, but we all liked the fries. I'm Not trying to make a problem, and as evidenced by my overall review. I just think, for such a Nice Place, they should totally up their game. I sense that they are achieving the correct level of quality for their clientele, and I suppose their business model is working well for them, as the reviews are high. So good on ya. Will I return? Not likely as there are better choices around. However, the price was right. Three meals at lunch with a tip, $100. Thank you for a pleasant afternoon.
